Church Music Committee, Church of Ireland
The Dublin and Glendalough Diocesan Church Music Committee offers a number of courses throughout the year. The three-year part-time Archbishop's Certificate in Church Music, running since 1991, aims to provide the range of skills and knowledge required by musicians working in local churches:
(i) organ playing, including service accompaniment;
(ii) choir training and rehearsal techniques;
(iii) the structure of the Church's liturgy and the role of music in it.
Other shorter courses, such as Living Worship and evening workshops for Cantors and Choir Trainers are also available.

Dublin Diocesan Resource Centre
The Dublin Diocesan Resource Centre runs workshops and seminars on an occasional basis and provides information on other courses that may be of interest. It acts as a support for parishes and other groups to encourage and enable them to improve the quality of liturgical services, including music and liturgical art. Each year, the centre organises the hugely successful Emmanuel programme, which celebrates and encourages liturgical music in schools throughout the diocese.
